The Under 7s kicked off their football journey with their first ever matches against a good Inter Cheadle team in the new 3v3 format. Every player showed great effort, enthusiasm, and determination throughout. Most importantly, all the children had loads of fun and played with big smiles on their faces. NMJU11 – Match Report - 5th September 2026

Today saw the boys play their first match as U11s, and it was great to finally get the new season underway. We welcomed Theo and Hugo to the squad for their first game, while Dylan and Alfie were unavailable for today’s fixture against High Lane Athletico. Another really positive performance from the lads in just our second game together as a team, against a very good Glossop North End Community U23s side. 💛🖤 New Mills started brightly and created plenty of chances in the first half before eventually getting the breakthrough.
