Finals day at Silverlands against Glossop with the New Mills families and friends out in full force.
What a game it was as well, some ferocious tackling and a proper battle from start to finish against a very good Glossop team.
Great first half from the Millers who were unlucky at times in the attack.
Second half a different story with New Mills creating chance after chance and defending like lions. Absolute worldy from Joe and a stunning free kick from all of 30 yards from Junior capping off an amazing performance from the team. This performance putting a big smile on the faces of everyone watching.
Couldn’t single out a player for POTM as they were all brilliant and battled so hard for each other throughout.
It's been a pleasure working with these kids all year and we are looking forward to progressing on through the summer tournaments and beyond.
