Match report NMJFC Under 12s - 05/02/23

On a frosty Sunday morning the Millers welcomed High Lane to Ollersett, with both teams looking for a much-needed win.

The Millers had a couple of unfortunate last-minute absentees, which meant the lads would have to dig deep ......... and they didn't disappoint.

The morning crisp on the grass hadn't disappeared when the visitors took the lead very early in the game. The Millers then in turn worked through the gears putting High Lane on the back foot.

A lot of hard work from the Millers in the 1st half but no real chances created.

After a good half time team talk the lads stepped up and showed just how much they wanted the win. Ollie Mc scoring very early in the 2nd half - lifting the Millers spirits.

Joel Wood was putting some excellent challenges in - Lewis in turn trying to link the play, George, Cary and Dil were always in control at the back.

Josh and Toby worked tirelessly for their team creating chances for both Ben and Ollie.Mc upfront. Ollie.Mc scored his 2nd of the game giving the Millers a deserved lead but High Lane weren't giving up.

The Millers were putting in a brilliant performance and when the ref blew the full time whistle, they celebrated together as a team #teamwork. Couldn't single anyone out as every single player was superb but for his 2 goals Ollie.Mc is the Jake Taylor Electrical Services player of the game.

Would also like to take the opportunity to thank "JC Motor Services" for sponsorship for the lads new hoodies.
