Match report NMJFC Under 12s - 4th April 2021

We're finally all back at it!🙌⚽️💛🖤

Our U12s travelled away for an early Easter start against our friends from Bollington Cobras this morning.

After 4/5 months out, with the majority of the players gaining inches in height during lockdown and returning with hairdo's making them look almost unrecognisable, once that first whistle blew for kick off they looked like they'd never been away and were raring to go!!

A fabulous first half saw them play some great football.These kids were clearly happy to be back playing and soon got into their stride and took the lead with a fantastic Proctor goal⚽️

Soon to follow was a classic Toft header taking them 2-0 up at half time⚽️

Slow start for the mini millers in the second half saw the home team score within a minute of the kick off.

With players tiring on both sides the home team took the advantage and scored again to take the game to a draw.

A few missed opportunities later on for the Millers caused some frustration but really happy with the result on the first game back after so long out.

Credit to the players on both sides that made it an enjoyable evenly matched game to watch!
