THE GIRLS GET THEIR 1ST WIN 💪⚽️🥳

A fantastic performance from the girls resulted in a well deserved victory. New Mills started brightly and missed a glorious chance to take the lead, they weren't to be denied next time with Niamh G getting her 1st goal for the team. Queensgate created a few opportunities which were defended well by the back 3. New Mills had a great opportunity to extend the lead with a penalty which was unlucky to hit the bar.

The 2nd half started brightly for the Millers with Maddie slotting home from close range. Queensgate responded well with a goal when their quick forward raced through to score. The girls didn't let it get them down and continued to battle well. Maddie went through from a long goal kick to score her 2nd. Maddie secured her hat trick with the last kick of the game. A great game for the girls.

GOG went to Niamh M who was fantastic in the midfield, helping the defence and starting attacks well.
