Bollington Bullets 4 - 4 New Mills
After a good win and performance last week
the boys were looking to build on that against a strong Bollington team.
New Mills started slowly and with Bollington having the better start found themselves 1-0 down after 15 minutes. That was until the equaliser from Connor on 20 minutes who picked the ball up out wide cut inside beating 3 men and from 25 yards hit a screamer off the underside of the crossbar to level things up. That seemed to kick the lads in to gear and after some good play on the wing from Jayden his ball across the edge of the area found Harvey with another excellent finish smashing it into the top right hand corner to make it 2-1 at half time.
Straight after half time from kick off Bollington scored to level it up then not long after took the lead to make it 3-2. New Mills won a corner and a great ball in from Cian found captain Ben who's header came back off the post only for him to follow up and put away the rebound. Again Bollington took the lead, but in the last 5 minutes of the game a good move and ball across the box from Jack F resulted in a nice finish from Lucas getting in front of the Bollington defender to tuck it away. Great effort from the lads today but a draw was probably a fair result. On to next week now well done boys.
