Match report NMJFC Under 7s Blacks - 13/03/22

Another glorious morning in Glossopdale and once again our kids were in top form.

Raring to go, NM Blacks were straight in there. Great big tackles and we looked like a team that wanted to show everybody watching, how good we have become.

Putting pressure on, making things happen, taking control of the game! We are now seeing the hard-work from Wednesday training sessions. This is creating a platform for the kids to express themselves on the pitch and this Sunday, nobody did that better than Ollie M. Absolutely outstanding - He ran his socks-off!

Oliver B got us off to a good start, slotting the ball home! This lad is clinical – A real goal scorer!

Then we had to ride our luck. Jacob had volunteered to go in in goal and he was brilliant! SK Vipers were on the attack & NM Blacks had to do the ‘tough stuff’. Luckily we have Finley who would make Roy Keane look soft! Nothing gets passed ‘Our Finners’.

Second Half – Albie took the gloves. The sweeper-keeper. He was tremendous!

We were unlucky not to increase our advantage earlier. This team of ours just don’t give up & when Frankie was taken down whilst clean through on goal he only had one intention! Boom – A Free-Kick David Beckham would be proud of.
