Match report NMJFC Under 9s - 10 April 2021

New Mills U9 v Bramhall North 75 Eagles

It was a very good physical game if football in tough conditions. The snow covered pitch proved hard getting grips with, the ball getting held up alot whilst passing and dribbling with the lads conceding a couple of early goals. After 10 mins of play they started to get a good flow to the game with the lads passing the ball well and were able to dribble into good positions and were quickly rewarded with a couple of goals. The second half started where the 1st left off with the lads controlling the game and were rewarded with 3 secind half goals. Harry was superb in net with his distribution really coming along. Daniel and Gregory were super in defence, both winning the ball back well and distributing to a team mate up the pitch. Bobby and Freddie worked tirelessly in the middle getting up and down the pitch. Bertie and Dan W were super on the wing, strong tackling and good running with the ball. A special mention for Darragh on the left who worked incredibly hard helping at the back whilst also scoring and assisting a few goals. Cole did really well up front, worked hard defending from the front and got himself a couple of goals.

Goals Cole ⚽⚽ Darragh ⚽⚽ Bertie ⚽

MOM Cole for his hard work upfront and scoring his first goals of the season.
