Match report NMJFC Under 9s - 19 September 21

It was the first ever game for some of our U9’s in the High Peak league. It was a glorious sunny, Sunday morning and we all enjoyed what could be the last bits of sun for the year.

The team was ready and eager to get started and got off to a good start. The new boys received plenty of help from their team mates constantly updating them on the retreat rule and teaching them to regroup at the centre circle after a goal. Well done boys 👏👏

The game had plenty of fast breaks from defence to attack that really entertained the spectating parents. Our goalkeeper was on top form denying multiple certain goals that inspired the kids to keep going.

MOTM was goalkeeper Finchley 🏆 who was unbelievable in his first game in net and was congratulated by the opposition coach. Well done Finch. 🙌
