The rain just about held off for New Mills Under 8s as they took on Wythenshawe Panthers this week.
With club Chairman Rick in attendance, the players were eager to show their appreciation for the countless hours of hard work he puts into the club, alongside the committee members and coaches who make it all possible.
From the first whistle, the team displayed fantastic teamwork.
Passes zipped around the pitch, tackles were brave, and every player gave 100% for one another. The team spirit was unbeatable throughout, with plenty of smiles and valuable learning along the way — another big step forward for this exciting young squad.
A special mention also goes to SK Kits for their kind donation of goalkeeper gloves to the team, a hugely appreciated gesture.
