Now the dust has started to settle. We would like to say a massive thanks to our army of volunteers who helped on the pitch, behind the scenes and on the sidelines over the past months to make our tournament happen. Big thanks also to New Mills FC for letting the Juniors host the tournament on their fantastic pitch.
The weekend signified everything our club stands for - children enjoying football in an inclusive and safe environment and a good time had by all.
It is also a key part of our fundraising and we were fortunate to raise approximately £2,200, to be invested back into the club for the benefit of the children.
We took a paperless approach to the tournament, hosting our fixtures online and downloadable via QR code. With 294 clicks over the course of the weekend, we saved a huge amount of paper by not printing programmes, and with zero wastage.
