There was plenty of shiny new boots on show and parents sporting their new dryrobes, us coaches got New Mills baseball caps for crimbo, Father Christmas had played a blinder! Match Report NMJFC U10s - 10/01/26
The U10’s kicked off 2026 with their first game of the year against Didsbury Phoenix Maroons on a very frosty afternoon at Stockport Sports Village. The boys were without Charlie J, who unfortunately broke his toe over the Christmas break, and will be out for a few more weeks but he still made the effort to come down and cheer on his teammates from the sidelines. NMJFC Hornets U11 V Bollington United Bears - Sandra Crowe KO Cup - 01/11/25
"We're going for the cup" was the cry from the coaches after a somewhat indifferent start to the season for our lads. They got off to a flyer when our Rocket slotted home an early penalty after Albie had been ambushed by the Bollington defence. Rocket was at it again with a perfect strike from distance. Our maestro kept the play alive then shifted the ball perfectly to Ronan who hit it first time and the ball nestled nicely in the back of the net. Ronan looked superb in the
