There was a real buzz around the pitch today as we welcomed our newest winter signing, Evie, for her debut. A fresh new kit and a fresh new face brought an extra spark to the squad, but there was nothing uncertain about the way she stepped into the team. From the first whistle, she looked as though she had always been part of the line-up, fitting seamlessly into the rhythm and spirit of the team. "We're going for the cup" was the cry from the coaches after a somewhat indifferent start to the season for our lads. They got off to a flyer when our Rocket slotted home an early penalty after Albie had been ambushed by the Bollington defence. Rocket was at it again with a perfect strike from distance.
