Today’s game against Bramhall was a showcase of determination, teamwork, and standout individual performances from our squad. Paige started in goal, setting the tone early with her quick distribution and a string of solid saves that kept us in the game. Her composure between the posts was matched by her willingness to launch counterattacks with precision.

In defence, Emily on the left impressed with her tenacity, pushing the ball up the field and delivering crucial last-ditch tackles when under pressure. On the right, Ava demonstrated her versatility and footballing intelligence, reading the game beautifully and driving into open spaces when in possession. The midfield was a hive of activity, led by Jessica on the left, who combined tireless running with incisive tackles and some neat passes forward to the attack. At the center of the pitch, Ebony was a rock, putting in crunching tackles and threading clever balls through to the strikers. On the right, Millie worked tirelessly, showing courage in the tackle and pace in her forward runs along the wing.

Up front, Seren led the line with strength and flair, giving Bramhall's defence a tough time throughout. She created several chances and frequently dropped back into midfield to support her teammates when needed. Substitutions added a fresh dynamic to the game. Poppy came on to the left wing, showcasing relentless energy, a shot on target, and signs of improving all-around play. Annabella slotted into defence, making some crucial tackles before the biting cold started to take its toll on her.

The second half brought a reshuffle as Seren took her turn in goal, pulling off a series of spectacular diving saves against a relentless opponent. Paige, now outfield, dazzled with an electric solo run past three defenders, capping it off with a perfectly weighted pass to her teammates. The attacking play intensified, with multiple players firing shots on target, narrowly missing their mark but showcasing the team’s ambition.

Agnes made a late entrance but wasted no time making an impact. Her very first touch was a daring shot from the halfway line that almost found the back of the net. She displayed relentless energy and commitment, leaving a lasting impression despite her short stint on the pitch. As the final whistle came, Player of the Week deservedly went to Agnes, whose arrival injected a burst of enthusiasm and confidence. Her audacious shot and spirited effort were a testament to her dedication, even with limited minutes on the clock. Well done Agnes, and well done to all the girls on this bitterly cold morning!
