Under 10s Boys v Reddish North End
Stockport Metro League
The ‘brain mat’ sponsored Saturday team played Reddish North End this week.
The boys had a massive battle on their hands today without their regular goalkeeper against a very good Reddish North End team.
The boys started brightly playing some great passing football.
Reddish North End scored a great opener with a fantastic strike to the roof of the net. A goal “Marcus Rashford” would be proud off, and it would also have takenthe ability of “David De Gea” to save it.
New Mills created plenty of chances themselves in the first half, with shots just over the bar, a shot against the post and another just wide.
New Mills continued there positive football and were rewarded with a fine taken goal from Remo minutes into the second half. The second half also produced some more goals and amazing end to end football. The Mini Millers kept playing their attractive style of attacking football until the final whistle.
POTM was Junior, who had a great game today. I would also like to mention Leighton and Brodie who both took a turn in goals today. Thank you, boys.
