NMJFC U10 v Poynton Reds U10

The day started with both teams impeccably observing a minute silence for remembrance weekend.

First half started slowly with both teams taking time to get into their stride.

Midway through the half New Mills managed to gain the advantage with a well worked team goal. This sparked the game into life and the opposition was soon on level terms.

Second half continued as the first had finished, with both teams playing good, attractive football which resulted in a thrilling end to end game to the enjoyment of the on watching parents.

This team continues to go from strength to strength and it was a pleasure to see that they have a great togetherness and continue to work for one another.

POTM this week goes to Harry, who produced a great all-round performance in defence and also caused the opposition problems when he went upfront. Well done everybody, keep up the good work 👏 💪
