Match report NMJFC U10s girls - 15/04/23

U10s Girls vs Chapel

Warm conditions for the match this morning and with no subs today the girls had to work hard.

We knew today would be a close game against Chapel and despite some chances a both ends the match remained tight at half time.

Second half and the girls came flying out of the blocks. An early chance fell to Holly ⚽️ who finished brilliantly, giving the Chapel keeper no chance. The goal for Holly was well deserved as she played well throughout the match.

The girls kept up the pressure on the Chapel defence and Elsie grabbed herself a couple of goals ⚽️⚽️, again both really good finishes past the keeper. 

A few more chances fell to the Millers but Elsie was denied a few times by the keeper and Isla had a goal harshly disallowed.

All of the girls had good games today.

Millie made some important saves in goal and in front of her Florence and Erin did well defending when Chapel pushed us hard towards the end of the game.   

Lily had a great game today in midfield as did Isla and Holly but player of the game was Elsie 🏆 for working hard all game and causing problems for the opposition defence. 👏🏻
