Match Report NMJFC U11 Scorpions Vs Macclesfield boys U11 - 19/10/25

We are making our way through this new league now. With new competitors, but what we have taught these kids is that if they are playing their game. Who the opposition is doesn’t matter. 

David was a little under the weather this week so Oliver offered to step in for him and what a stand in 👊🏻. Just minutes into the game an overhead kick by is just saved by the keeper. Nice way to make yourself known Oliver. 

Training this week was everyone’s favourite, It was running. Today’s objective was to carry on everything we did in training. They all did an excellent job 👏🏻👍🏻

Rocco K was on fire today. Nothing was getting past him. He held his line, He chased his ball and his win rate was incredible. 👊🏻

Callum and Will protected the wings …human shuttle bus running the same route all game long. They pick up the ball deep in their own territory and drop off a pass high up the field, before immediately running back to collect more passengers. They also had the opportunity to be on the receiving end of those long balls of which they both took advantage of 👍🏻 

Our wingers were the epitome of running. Non-stop pressure throughout the whole game. Both rewarded with goals but better than that they made many more goals happen. 

Frankie H has become a special weapon we didn’t know we were missing. These long balls and shots are becoming somewhat of a spectacle. His second was a slow motion dipping one that we all just watched and waited for it to come back down to earth. beautiful⚽️

Rocco T is really finding himself this season. He needed to be told how strong he was. Now he knows.. he’s not letting anyone get in his way. He pushes through defensive lines like hurdles waiting to be stepped over.  Tenacious and strong! 

There wasn’t too much required of Frankie C today but he was where he needed to be when he needed to be. Some strong kicks put our attackers in a great position. 

Alfie had a fantastic 2nd half to the game. We asked Alfie to play a little higher and to get on the end of some of the big kicks not only did he do exactly what was asked of him. Today he was rewarded with a hat trick and PoTM ⚽️⚽️⚽️ 👏🏻👍🏻

Great game played by all today. Every single player started fast .. stayed focussed and did amazingly well !
