Match report NMJFC U11s v Chinley Green U11s - 07/01/24

Alarm set for 7 AM on a Sunday 😱 and the U11's got to a sluggish start in an early morning fixture. 

It was an even game where chances were few and far between. 

The team had no training coming into the New Year due to the weather and it was evident in their overall performance. 

Chinley did a great job keeping our defenders busy however, the back line was composed and ready to deal with whatever came their way. 

A debut goal from Travis ⚽️ saw his shot sneak past the keeper. Another week, another goal for the ever-present Isaac ⚽️ and a shot from distance from Rory ⚽️ who's strike took a wild deflection off an opponent's foot and over the unfortunate keeper. 

A big thank you to Albie and Travis for volunteering to go in net.
