Match Report NMJFC U12 Blacks - 15/09/24

It was a warm and sunny afternoon kickoff in Brinnington for the u12s blacks against a strong Stockport Falcons side.

New Mills were under pressure from the start, and kept in the game by Ollie, who was stand in goalie until our regular keeper escaped the traffic!

The Falcons proved too strong on the day and were able to capitalise when Blacks let the ball run loose. Despite the score there were lots of positives to take from the game, some excellent goalkeeping and defensive work, and crisp buildup play which only needed the finishing touch to be applied.

Player of the match today was Fraser who put in a strong performance at right back, difficult to break down and the foundation for our attacks down the wing.

Lots to work and build on for the boys over the coming weeks.
