The Millers started this tough home game brightly.
Cole was leading the back line of skipper Bobby, Dan F and Alex who controlled the early oppositions attacks superbly well.
Bobby constantly bringing the ball out from the back with composure and confidence.
The midfield battle was fierce and Indi and Mayson battled hard to gain control of the game.
Darragh and Cookie attacked at every opportunity with several good crosses where Dan W was close to getting on the end of them on several occasions.
The second half continued at the same frantic pace as the first and Greg came on the right wing, Tommy came on at left back and Harry T up top. All three added energy to the performance.
Wyhtenshawe scored two well taken goals and took home the 3 points as the Millers battled hard but couldn’t register a goal on what was one of those days in front of goal.
Cole took player of the match with a strong display in goal and several important one on one saves to keep the Millers in the game.
The players gave their all and that’s all we ever ask from them.
