Match Report NMJFC U8s girls - 13/09/25

Welcome to football, this was the first ever game that our newly formed under 8s girls had ever played and it was a belter. 

Please welcome our new team that consists of 7 great girls, Isla, Elle, Skye, Nora, Emily, Nina and Nancy. 

Our first game was against Bramhall North and we started off strong with Nina in goal and pulling off some fantastic saves and collecting the ball up like a pro. Then we had Emily and Nora at the back who contributed with there strong tackles and some great passes up the pitch to get our attack going. 

As we went up the pitch we had Elle, Skye and Isla who took control and fought hard to win us the ball back and get us up towards Bramhall’s goal. 

It wasn’t long till Nancy was introduced and she came in strong and determined to keep up the energy that the team had started with. 

In the second half Emily took over in goal and as Nina did in the first half she made some fantastic saves and concentrated well. Isla came back to the defence and Nancy, Skye and Elle pushed up to form our attacking line. Skye made some lightning runs up the left wing keeping control of the ball as she went.

All the girls played amazingly and all the coaches and parents were super proud of every single one of them on this opening game of the season.

Girl of the game went to Isla but could have gone to all the girls after the performance they produced.
