On a very wet and cold morning, the Millers carried on where they finished off in 2021 with some super passing football, excellent work rate from all the players when out of possession, with clinical finishes when chances were created in the attacking third.

Fantastic bravery from Hazza in goal with some super saves and excellent distribution. Daniel Cole and Darragh kept the Poynton attack at bay.
Ryan, Freddie and Bobby worked tirelessly in midfield and created lots of scoring opportunities for others, Dan W linking the attacking play superbly and running hard to close down the Poynton defenders.
Moments of the match included a super 1-2 between Cole & Darragh then Darragh crossing to give Bertie a tap in. Followed later with a super header from man of the match Bertie from Bobbys corner.
Rick, Liam and Rob are very pleased with the continuing improvements shown week on week by the team.
