Match report NMJFC Under 10s - 25/3/23

New Mills Vs Buxton Young Bucks 

It was semi-final day in the metro this weekend and today's opponents were a tough Buxton side which we have played earlier in the season.

The Millers were excited but knew it was going to be a tough game today. This did not faze them and they were straight at it from the first whistle. The number of chances they created with their slick passing in the first half, and relentless pressure was good to see and it caught Buxton off guard and were unable to settle.

The second half was a different story and Buxton came out like a different team. New Mills dealt with the pressure well, but in the end, they just ran out of steam from their excellent effort in the first half. The team should be so proud of how far they have progressed from the beginning of the season and this will put them in good stead for the step up to 9 aside next year 💪

We must congratulate Buxton for a great game and wish them all the best in the final.
