Match report NMJFC Under 11a - 23/10/21

With NMJFC Kicking off at 8:45, we were expecting a few slow starters but both teams started positively. With the millers wanting to keep a good run going, they were trying to press the opposition into mistakes but they held strong.

Some good possession from NMJFC led to a chance which fell to Josh, which he took with full confidence and drilled it into the bottom corner to give the millers a hard fought lead.

Benchill didn't stop and gave as good as they got but with Dillan showing just why he's a top goalkeeper and the defence of George & Ross standing up strong with the support of the midfield duo of Lewis & Joel, they didn't break the Millers goal.

Ollie.M and Josh worked hard supporting the defence and the forwards of Toby, Harris and Jack.

Both teams were creating and battling it out but the millers working hard and strong until the final whistle.

With high praise from both Benchill managers and the referee it was Ross taking home the Man of the Match trophy 🏆-

Every single player should of been proud of how they played as they are already growing into such a strong team.
