Match report NMJFC Under 11s - 26/03/23

NMJfC u11 v Hollingworth u11

Another resilient and tenacious performance from the Mini Millers.

Cole making good saves early on and Daniel, Tommy and Darragh battling hard to keep the Hollingworth attacks to a minimum.

Gregory, Bobby, Alex L and Bert worked hard in midfield to try and link with Dan W who was making great movements to receive the ball in the half spaces between the lines.

Alex H, Stan and Lincoln all added energy to the pitch and with Stan defending well,

Lincoln battled hard and Alex worked to keep the ball and link with midfield when he could.

A great counter attack goal was scored by the prolific Bert ⚽️

Another very close game where the millers continue to compete in the top division superbly against far more experienced opponents.

Cole deservedly took the player of the match award for a superbly penalty save and several one on one saves preventing certain goals for the opposition.
