Match report NMJFC Under 11s Dynamos- 16/01/22

NMJFC u11 Dynamos vs Whaley Bridge

The Millers followed on from their good display last week with an even better one this week against Whaley Bridge.

The stand out performance came from George who managed to get himself SIX ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ goals, all of which were excellently finished. However all of the other players played their part in this match, either defending well or playing good passing football & going forward to create the opportunities to score.

The opening goal came from a long distance shot just inside the Whaley Bridge half that the keeper had no chance of stopping. Whaley equalised shortly after with a shot from the edge of the box, but the Millers immediately went back onto the front front and dominated the rest of the half.

By half time George had scored five, two of which came from the penalty spot.

Second half was a slightly more even contest with both teams grabbing a goal, George again finishing well for the double hat trick.

Many players had great games today. Harris terrorised the Whaley Bridge full back most of the game and was unlucky not to score a header when the defender handled the ball on the line. Toby had another great game up front and got some more assists. Nat performed well in his new role of wingback, where he did superb in both defence and attack. The defensive players Jack, Luca, Maxi, Oscar and Cole all put in some strong challengers throughout the game. Jake, Thomas and Bobby all did well in midfield, both helping the defence and getting forward to attack.

MOTM today had to go to George for all the well taken goals.
