Match report NMJFC Under 12s - 06/11/22
NMJFC vs Buxton Young Bucks Blue U12's
On a day where the coaches and parents were asked to stay silent - the Millers delivered
After their victory last week, the boys themselves wanted to keep that winning feeling and they didn't disappoint.
Straight from the referees first whistle till the last the Millers dominated every aspect of the game.
On an undesirable pitch the Millers were playing some superb football.
This didn't stop the visitors creating a chance or two though, but when they did, they struggled to get passed the Millers defensive wall of Cary & George and if they did somehow squeeze through, Dillan was out to diffuse any attack.
A great partnership in Central Midfield of Lewis and Joel is starting to flourish now with the pair understanding each other's game which in turn leaves the opposition no chance.
Both wingers in Toby and Ben were a constant threat going forward and an excellent cover for the team with their non-stop work rate.
With Olly.B and Ollie.Mc starting upfront, the Buxton defence were never going to have an easy afternoon.
The subs played their part in a very commanding game with every single player putting a shift in.
With a sweet left foot shot from the edge of the box, hitting the post and eventually going in, Toby fired the Millers into the lead, leaving the keeper no chance.
The boys didn't really look threatened through the game and Ben made sure of the win with a great strike just inside the box which nearly burst the net. 💥
The boys are really playing some great football and the team ethic they are building is a pleasure to watch.
A huge thank you to both sets of coaches and supporters for adhering to the Silent weekend - and just letting the teams play.
The J TAYLOR ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS MOTM went to a very well-deserved Toby 👏🏻👏🏻
