New Mills travelled to Reddish for this weekends game.
The boys started the game well but conceded a penalty early on to go behind.
They carried on playing well and were rewarded with 2 quick fire goals from Archie and Alfie, however they had plenty more chances but weren’t able to hit the net.
The game turned into abit of an unfair contest when the home team went behind. A lot of off the ball challenges, which went unpunished by the referee. The boys carried on plugging away but the game was out of reach as Reddish scored a few goals themselves and then a final goal which we felt shouldn’t of counted.
Can’t fault the millers for there efforts played some really good football in spells, a few casualties for us this week.
