What do we say about today’s game? 

Straight out the trap Glossop playing tika taka style football and clocking up goals left, right & centre.

The New Mills side just could not catch a break. All we can do from today is notch it down as a bad day, it happens and use it to fuel the next game. 

Some very physically strong players in this league and this seems to get in our heads and cause frustration, we got sucked into the middle and scrapped for possession, we had a penalty awarded after 12 minutes but was saved by their keeper! 

Again, half time chat was brutally honest and if anyone learnt anything from today it was having the ability to pick ourselves up and keep trying. 

A better second half, got a few shots away but just wasn’t meant to be!

Some nice play out from the back, getting the ball down the wing, the desire from some to just claw at least one back and good options for their team mate on the ball.  

A difficult defeat but chin up team - bring on Saturday’s game!
