NMJFC U14 Girls 1-4 Macclesfield Town U14 Girls

This game was a classic tale of 2 halves. The first half, New Mills struggled to deal with the quick passing and moving of the Macclesfield Girls, who used the right wing to devastating effect and very quickly established a 3 goal lead. Macclesfield added a 4th before the break and also put a penalty wide.

The second half was a complete different story, with New Mills being the better side. They defended better, controlled the midfield and used the wide areas well. Niamh G was very unfortunate not to score on 2 occasions.

Maddie managed to score with a composed finish into the bottom right corner.

The defence stood strong and prevented Macclesfield scoring in the 2nd half.

GOG went to Kirsty, none stop running, broke up play well when playing in the middle and started many attacks.
