Match report NMJFC Under 7s Yellows - 31/10/21

To say it was wet and windy would be an understatement as the Yellows were up against Chapel Town U7 Blues at Glossopdale this morning.

In very tough conditions the Yellows were fired up for this one and looking to build on their great start to the season. The weather made things difficult, but straight from kick-off the Yellows got stuck in to their opposition with some excellent passing and tackling, creating some great chances in the first half.

The weather didn’t ease in second half and the game continued to be an open, end to end affair with the Yellows goalkeeper Toby in inspired form. Their attacking play was rewarded with an excellent solo goal from Dylan ⚽️

Special mention to today’s captain Charlie, who despite the conditions, led from the front with some excellent tackling, pressing and constantly looking to drive the team forward.

Awesome attitude from the whole team today - well done Yellows! You were all ace! Fingers crossed for some kinder weather next week…
