TOURNAMENT REPORT - NMJU7 - 7th May

Coronation weekend and the U7’s had their first tournament of the summer, hosted by JOD Sports, at Whaley Bridge.

A beautiful day for it with lots of sunshine.

The U7’s hadn’t played against any of the teams in our group, so we had no idea what level the opposition would be at.

We started off on the 3G pitch with a well earned win, before having the next 4 games on the grass.

Another first for the U7’s playing on grass, and adapting to the different speed of play, as well as a bit of an incline.

New Mills put in some great performances, and deservingly reached the final.

A superb achievement for this little group.
