NMJFC U10 Blacks v Chapel Town yellows
The U10 Blacks started their campaign in Glossopdale this weekend against a very tough opponent in Chapel Town Yellows.
The Millers were fired up for todays fixture - knowing just how good an opponent they were up against. We started well and the first half was a very close encounter with chance created at both ends.
We’ve added some new faces to our squad this season including debutant Bobby who put in a great performance - showing us all how hard working he is in that midfield. Well done Bobby!
Another new addition to the team is Oliver who worked relentlessly all over the pitch when called up on. His never give in attitude was incredible and helped him to win this weeks Man of the Match Trophy 🏆
Our goalkeeper James made some fine saves today, but we just couldn’t keep Chapel out. Lots of great defensive work from Shea, Joe, Liam and Ella was also on show, along with great attacking threat from Harley, Kian and Oliver. We had our share of chances today, but we just couldn’t find the net. On another day we could have bagged 3 or 4.
Overall, a great opening game for the team to move forward from and a great taste of what’s to come this season.
Well done Millers 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
