Match report NMJFC Under 7s Blacks - 03/04/22

Another wonderful day at Glossopdale!

Although it was a slightly different experience to what we have become accustomed to, today we showed everybody watching how we can match-up against any tactic / style you want to hit us with! The kids did us proud again, they showed a determination & resilience I have never seen before from these little warriors. Jacob was performing his skill-set and absolutely mugging off the opposition! Sam was brave and started winning tackles and then playing the ball forward to his team-mates. Outstanding Sam!

Finley had asked to go in goal first half. ‘Finners’ had been watching David De Gea the day before & I can only assume this is why he performed a master-stroke save and then got lucky with the ricochet. He kept his clean-sheet with a good olde-fashioned boot that put the ball into touch.

Then, with minutes to go before half-time, NM Blacks nudged it – Frankie stamping his authority on the score-line.

Jacob takes the gloves for the second-half. This young man has been our best goalie so far this season & he didn’t disappoint!

SK Vipers were proper up for this! Second half….. We dug dip! Some absolutely fantastic tackling and lots of shouting from the side-lines didn’t distract us from seeing the game out.

We weren’t finished there…. Frankie with another successful counter-attack. Stanley instigated the whole thing with a terrific pass into the channel.
