I’ll keep this one short! A big game with bare 11, away to unbeaten, top of the league Marple.  What a game, what a whole team performance. What a defensive dream team! The last game before Christmas had a special feel to it, and from the first whistle the team played like they wanted to send themselves into the holidays on a high. Paige started in goal, a little nervous at first, but she settled almost immediately. The penultimate game of the calendar year, before the Christmas break, and a venue & time change for this fixture. Didsbury High School was the venue, and a later kick-off time of 1.40 against UK Sports Oranges U7.  Considering the greater distance, a sterling effort from the parents ensured New Mills had a full team ready to go well before kick-off.
